The engineer trousers draw inspiration from 1940s workpants, when fabrics were not strong enough for heavy work. Each pocket opening is reinforced with a patch that mimics the rivets found on jeans. These high-rise trousers have a wide silhouette from thigh to hem. Made from our original twisting-mottled whipcord, the fabric is a result of our examination of vintage swatches. The reverse side is lightly brushed, giving it a horsewhip appearance, from which it derives its name "Whipcord." Mix Brown Colorway.
